This is a brand new rubber gasket to fit most 'bee-sting' type roof mounted aerial antenna bases. This is the type of aerial fitted to VW models including New Beetle, Bora, Corrado, Golf Mk3, Golf Mk4, Jetta, Passat, Polo,  Rabbit, Lupo, Fox and GTI models It is also suitable for other vehicle makes including Audi, Seat, Skoda, Citroen, Renault, Vauxhall and others as this design of aerial is made by various aerial manufacturers and suppliers including Autoleads, Blaupunkt, Bosch, Hirschmann, Maystar and others. It is suitable for most 'beesting' style aerials which are positioned on the rear of the roof, in the centre.

The gasket is oval in shape, with external dimensions of 60 mm by 43 mm approximately. It can normally be fitted from outside with out the need to remove the head-lining or interior trim, as it is flexible enough to be stretched over the aerial base and the lip seal pressed in between the aerial and roof.

If you existing gasket is cracked, perished, missing, discoloured or contaminated by over-spray this will restore the appearance of your roof aerial. It will also re-seal the aerial base if the existing gasket seal is allowing ingress of water.
