The bottom wishbone has a great affect on the handling and stability of the car. The wheel hub mounts to the car via the bottom arms, The bottom arms connect to the car via these bushes, once the Bushes wear or even break the handling of the car will be greatly compromised and could be dangerous!
Worn Bushes will make a knocking noise as the suspension moves and turns, gentle at first but within a few weeks it will quickly wear more, and become quite severe, and may even break
When this bush wears it allows a slight movement in the wheel - and can be seen by rocking the wheel forward and back, you will see any play in the bush.
Please note bushes are supplied as pictured here ready to be
fitted to Brackets
Any free play at all in the bushes will result in an MOT failure
