This is brand new external pillar aerial antenna, antennen that is located on the outside of the ‘A’ pillar on many early Japanese, Far East and American manufactured cars, small trucks, vans, and especially 4x4 and off road vehicles. It is an aftermarket replacement, (not genuine or OE Suzuki/Santana) fairly universal in application, for both left and right hand drive vehicles, and is a suitable replacement for many Suzuki, Santana ES, Bedford and Piagio models, Holden Drover and their derivative models:

  • Suzuki Alto1986>1992, Every, Carry, Supercarry van & Pick-up, SJ410, SJ 410, SJ413, SJ 413, Sierra, Samurai, Katana, Potohar, Caribbean.

  • Daewoo Damas
  • Daihatsu Hijet, Cargo
  • Maruti Omni, Maruti Versa
  • Mazda Scrum
  • Ford Pronto
  • Piaggio Porter
  • Vauxhall Rascal
  • …and many others.

The fitting is universal as the upper mounting point is adjustable along the length of bottom telescopic section.

Please compare the photo to the existing aerial fitted as we do two external pillar aerials, this one where the screw mountings are directly behind the aerial mast, and another, where the fittings are offset to one side by about 33 mm (1.25 inches)

The mast is three-section stainless steel with a fully extended length of 1.20 metres (47 inches), for optimum radio reception.

The aerial is supplied complete a 117 cm coax cable (46 inches) fitted with a conventional aerial jack plug and all required fixtures and fittings including sealing gaskets.

Please note the telescopic sections are located on the outside of the roof pillar between the windscreen and drivers door pillar. It is not an internal pillar aerial, which retracts inside the pillar, and pulls out from the top of the pillar. Please see our vehicle specific listings for these.
