This is a brand new after-market replacement aerial antenna mast for the MGF and MGTF. It is a suitable replacement for the MG rover part number XUJ000080 which was subsequently replaced by their part number XUJ100120.

It is manufactured from steel with a black anodised finish and  is 43cm in length (17 inches) and has male thread which screws directly into the original base. It is slightly shorter than the original mast to allow easier accessibility when raising or lowering  soft top hood. Being steel there is no reduction in radio signal strength over the original longer glass fibre mast. If your MG aerial mast has been vandalised, stolen, bent, snapped, is giving poor radio reception this is what you need. It is fitted in seconds.

If your mast has been snapped off with force, the male thread often shears off in the base, and is extremely difficult or impossible to remove, so you may also need the base assembly. You may wish to check before ordering as we also normally list the mast and base together at less overall cost. The mast and base are easily replaced and it is normally a quick and simply DIY job
