ANSWER: You have small sprockets.

 

Yes these will be harder on your chains and bar and other parts as they speed up the chain and load the engine. Yes they cause more stress to everything but so do 400 HP engines in your favorite car but you decide if it's worth it. If you want to cut big wood fast then you need big sprockets. These are designed mainly for race saws so use accordingly at your own risk. The saw manufactures would rather you not use these but if you wanna fly you gotta buy.

If you are a pro and haven't tried this your totally missing the boat. Allow one-three extra drivers per chain depending on what your using now. This is a heavy dury extreme service sprocket that will last longer and wear better than a factory sprocket.
