The Little Giant Ladder Type 1 Palm Button Hinge Lock Assembly Kit
is the most popular replacement part for older Little Giant Ladders. Fits Type 1 250lb rated, Type II 225lb rated (yellow ladder), a few Type 1A, Alta One, Ultra Step, Painters Ladder, TitanX, American Titan, Megalite, Legend, Velocity and some models of fiberglass Little Giant Ladders. 2" center-to-center measurement on the outer pins.
3/4" diameter center pin. If your Little Giant Ladder has an EXTERNAL spring on the hinge that is clearly visible then this is likely the hinge lock you'll need. If your Little Giant Ladder has an INTERNAL spring on the hinge (not visible) then you likely need this hinge lock.
Part number 31005. Supersedes old part numbers 30043, 30044 and 20157 (Type II).

Not compatible with any competitors ladder. Not compatible with most aluminum Type 1A, Type 1AA and some models of Fiberglass Little Giant Ladders. If your Little Giant Ladder has an EXTERNAL spring on the hinge that is clearly visible then this is likely the hinge lock you'll need.
