This is a new replacement rubber grommet (sealing bush, dichtung, gommino) for electric aerial and manual "ball" top aerials and antennas that were factory fitted to early Mercedes 190, 190E, 190D  W201 models, manufactured from 1982 to April 1987.  It is a single piece rubber grommet angled at 27.5 degrees, to fit a factory cut 22 mm diameter hole in the rear wing/fender. This is a genuine Hirschmann part as supplied as Original Equipment OE for factory installation. It is not suitable for models manufactured after April 1987 as these had a larger oval hole, please see our other listing for this). Equivalent to 201 827 0198   ( 2018270198 ) discontinued and no longer available from Mercedes.

Please note; car audio equipment was not standard equipment on Mercedes models until the late 1980's and because of the comparatively high cost of "optional" audio equipment many 190 models were supplied without audio equipment. After-market radios & aerials were then subsequently fitted by the supplying dealers and car audio specialists, so often the aerial may have been retro fitted in alternative size hole. Ideally please measure the existing hole to confirm suitability before ordering.

Suitable for use with Hirschmann, Wisi, Beru, Bosch, Fuba and after-market type aerials with an 18 mm ball top type push-fit wing fitting.

Over time if your grommet has become perished, lost, cracked, or become discoloured with over-spray or car wax, this will restore your aerial to its original appearance.
