Dahlia - Pompone Double Mixed. With compact globular blooms in a fabulous range of colours and shades this mix is a must for cutting. Flowering July to October. Height to 60cm.

When to Sow: February to April.

Where to Sow: Sow in trays of moist seed compost and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a warm place and keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C (68-77°F).

What to do Next: When the seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. As seedlings grow, transplant into 9cm (3 1/2") pots and gradually harden off before planting out in the flowering site from late May onwards. Space plants 45-60cm (18-24") apart.

Flowers: July onwards.
