Our Amethyst gemstones are good purple in colour and a good cut.  Only sourced from ethical suppliers. We source and supply our gemstones calibrated by diameter specifically for the jewellery trade.

We supply an invoice detailing each gemstone purchased. If you or your client require further certification or a more detailed report for an Individual gemstone you will need to have one issued by your choice of reputable and independent laboratory.

Amethyst 

Amethyst is a crystalline variety of Quartz. Amethyst varies in colour from deep purple to light violet. Also from transparent to translucent. The most important commercial deposits of Amethyst have been found in Brazil, Bolivia, India, Madagascar, Namibia, Russia, Sri Lanka, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Common Treatments

Amethyst can be treated to produce Citrine or a green quartz called prasiolite.
