Heavy Duty Chair Piston Pneumatic gas spring cylinder cartridge strut shock replacement for standard office chair pneumatic cylinders.  

• This cartridge has a 3.7" stroke / travel. Typically used on executive and gaming chairs.  
• Main body is 1.1" (28mm) diameter and is 9.2" long (not counting solid rod)  
• Please measure the existing piston body to confirm it is between 8.7 - 9.7" long and ensure the travel is no longer than 4.5".
• The tapered end that goes into the seat plate / mechanism has a standard 17-4 taper.  
• The steel used is heat treated turning its color black and also making it much stronger than the standard silver color.
