NANCY LOPEZ woman's golf shoes 1980s size 8½ cleats Endicott Johnson LPGA spikes

This is a pair of previously-owned, white, women’s (size 8½ D) “NANCY LOPEZ” comfort golf shoes manufactured by Endicott Johnson in the mid-1980s (#NL-402). The shoes still have the tag and have never been worn, but there are a few scuffs and minute imperfections from being stored for so long. Also, the factory did a somewhat sloppy job creating the shoes, as there are traces of excess synthetic glue in a few spots…

Nancy Lopez is a professional golfer who became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1977 and won 48 LPGA Tour events during her LPGA career, including three major championships. Although considered one of the greats in the history of women's golf -- and the best player from the late '70s to late '80s -- Lopez did not win many majors and never won the U.S. Women's Open.
