American Service Shoes

Description

The service shoe, sometimes know as the low boot, was standard issue to US troops serving in the Army and Air Force at the start of the WW2, eventually replaced by the rough-out boot. This quality reproduction boot is made from russet brown leather with leather toe cap and a two piece stitched-in rubber sole.

Worn in combat with the M1938 leggings, these boots were also popular off-duty. The boots have quality stitching throughout with great attention to detail
