FRONT CONTROL ARMS Front Suspension arms are the main part of the front suspension and control the handling and stability of the car. Worn out bushes or major corrosion on the arms mean the handling of the car will be greatly compromised and could be dangerous! Worn bushes will make a knocking noise as the suspension travels up and down.
Suspension arms can take damage from any
impact such as a kerb, pothole or an accident, any damage at all
and the steering and suspension operation will be compromised and
could be dangerous!
Any free play, or major corrosion at all in the bottom arms will result in an MOT failure.
INNER & OUTER TRACK RODS Track rods and Ends connect the steering rack to the wheels, and control the tracking of the front wheels. Can be prone to wear due to the high use and constant load / movement. Free play may be felt in the steering. Wear in the Outer Track Rod End will allow the wheel to change tracking freely and will affect handling. Any wear will fail MOT. Supplied as a set as often they can corrode and be very difficult to separate.
DROP LINK RODS (Also known as Link Rods, or Anti Roll Bar Link rods) They connect the front Shock Absorber to the Anti Roll Bar. Can be one of the first items to wear in the from suspension. Supplied with this kit to give a full complete new components to the front suspension.
