This is a good quality brand new fully automatic AM/FM electric aerial (power antenna) with high quality chrome plated steel mast and chrome top nut, suitable as a replacement for many original equipment (OE) aerials used on cars in the 1970's 1980's and 1990's.  It is ideal for replacing an existing electric aerial or updating from a manual aerial on earlier classic cars, especially sports cars, convertible and coupe models  with a shallow boot or trunk space as the required under-hang, (height below the wing panel) is less than most standard after-market replacement aerials at  27 cm. 

Ideal for many classics, oldtimers and sports cars with limited mounting space including many Alfa Romeo, Austin, Ford, Lotus, Mini, MG, Triumph models but because specific installation data by model is not available, and the aerial location on older cars may not be as original, please check specification, panel angle and dimensions to ensure suitability.

Aerial antennas of this design and quality have been fitted by BMW, Ford, Triumph, Vauxhall, and VW for OE factory installation on early models. You will see cheaper aerials advertised but they will have inferior chrome plating, poorer finish and be noisier in operation.

• Fitted with a replacement (shorter than standard) five-section 77 cm (30”) quality chrome plated steel mast.
• 0º to 30 º adjustable chrome top nut. Selection of heads available for higher angles at additional cost if required.
• Recommended hole size 19 to 25 mm.
  
• 1.4 metre (4' 6") wiring harness. (extension leads available for new rear wing installations)
• Easy installation, with full instructions, and wiring. Can be connected directly to the existing wiring in the boot (trunk) using the connectors supplied on most applications.
• Built in relay.
• Supplied with pre-terminated wires and additional terminals for ease of fitting to both new fit and replacement installations.
• Overall under-wing (under fender) dimensions: height 27 cm, 9 cm width by 7 cm depth.
• Replaceable mast.

Please note there are many cheap and nasty copies of this design of aerial which are not to an OE quality/standard.and which are noisy in operation, with poor quality fittings. The aerial and fittings we supply are good quality and both smooth and quiet in operation. If you are unhappy with the quality of the aerial we supply we will accept it back for a full refund.
