Stock cars in action from the 1st Stock Car Race held at Phoenix (Arizona) International Raceway in 1968. Was won by Don White in the #1 car a 1968 Challenger. #3 car is Al Unser in 1967 Charger. Wild race pitted locals vs. professional national drivers. 11 cars in this shot, can make out #12 and #38. This track became (and still is) a major NASCAR venue. 1 original print photograph. Purchased by me sometime ago from a Arizona antique dealer. Approximately 8" x 10". Circa 1960's. OLD and ORIGINAL. NOT a reproduction or copy of ANY kind. Front shown.
