Torques Universal Oil Sandwich Plate Kit In Black (TQSP-B)
This oil sandwich plate and has a very broad application base, any engine that has a standard spin on filter could be fitted with this kit.
It has two additional 1/8 NPT ports for temperature sensor, oil pressure sensor and Turbo or Supercharger oil feed.
All parts are machined from 6061 billet aluminium and anodised, with the exception of the fixing bolts.
It comes supplied with -10JIC/AN adaptors and has the facility to fit temperature or pressure sensors as well as an auxiliary oil take off for turbo or supercharger
The sandwich plate is installed between the oil filter and engine block and measures 34mm(1.338") in height.
We have put together a kit that allows you to have this fitted and ready to connect to your -10JIC/AN hose lines with ease.
This sandwich plate can be converted to a take off plate by using the Torques take off cover (TQOSPC).

Installation Guide
Remove the existing oil filter and clean the oil filter seal face with a clean lint free cloth, taking care to ensure no debris is left to contaminate the system. Fit the 1/2BSP and 1/8NPT plugs (or other fittings if required) and apply a non permanent thread sealing compound or PTFE tape to the threads of the 1/8NPT fittings. Check the "o" ring seal recess to ensure it is clean and free of any contamination, replace the "o" ring and apply a film of oil to the "o" ring.
With the "o" ring face placed against the engine block where the oil filter has been fitted, insert the fixing bolt(female threaded and first) and carefully wind onto the oil filter locating spigot. Do not tighten. Before it is finally hand tight, ensure the sandwich plate has the ports facing in the correct direction, then tighten with a wrench half to three quarters of a turn after the seal has contacted the engine block. Fit a new oil filter, this is a good time to drain the old engine oil and replace with new. The plate kit is now ready for use.
