Genealogy French Families Detroit River Region 2 volume book 1701-1936 revision

This is “The Genealogy of the French Families of the Detroit River Region, 1701-1936 (Denissen Revision),” by Christian Denissen, a previously-owned two-volume hardcover book set published by the Detroit Society for Genealogical Research in 1987. The books are in pretty good shape, but they are retired library items with the usual stickers and marks of former ownership…

This two volume set contains families traced from France to Quebec and on the Detroit River Region, which includes the shores of the St. Clair River, Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River down to Maumee Bay near Toledo, Ohio, from Port Huron, Michigan and Sarnia, Ontario south to Monroe, Michigan and Amherstburg, Ontario. Many of the record derive from Fr. Christian Denissen, a priest who came to Detroit from Holland in 1872 and searched the Parish registers at the turn of the century. The Detroit Society for Genealogical Research first published the genealogy, using the New England system, in 1976; a revised edition was printed in 1987. The book is about 1500 pages including an index of about 40,000 names for the period of 1701-1936…

My Policies:

We offer several different shipping options and accept Paypal (and we do indeed combine shipping). We take pride in carefully packaging purchases -- almost always in bubble-wrap and/or specially-made boxes...

Customer satisfaction rules, and making sure customers conclude a gratifying transaction is what we aim for at Glass Eye Industries. We’ve been executing appraisals, working with liquidators and buying estates for well over two decades; we’re confident we know what we’re doing and we price fairly, based on availability, collectible-value and demand. All of our items are guaranteed -- to the best of our knowledge -- to be authentic and licensed pieces. In fact, we go to great lengths to accurately photograph, research and describe the items we sell.

We are very diligent -- with people checking product on the way in and the way out; however, on occasion, minute imperfections are sometimes unavoidable (hence, refunds can only be given in cases of complete misrepresentation).

We take feedback seriously… if you encounter a problem with your Ebay item once it is received, please contact us before leaving negative or neutral comments, and we will work through the problem. We always combine shipping, as we too are buyers (just like you!). We realize that postage prices have gone up substantially, as have the price of high-quality mailing envelopes and packaging materials; our shipping prices reasonably reflect that inflation. Please do not criticize and/or give us low marks for our “shipping and handling charges” after buying. If you do not agree with the shipping charge, simply do not buy. It’ll make it much easier for both of us...
