" When I placed my order for this, I didn't realize this was a plugin jack. I thought this was one of the kid I had heard of more oftne where you have to take the old jack out of the wall, and put in the new one with new wiring and all that. That is NOT what this one is. This is a plugin adapter that you put on top of a wall socket and it instantly creates two USB power ports for an iPhone or some gadget like that.

I was surprised at how easy it is to get going, and while I'd be a liar if I said it wasn't noticeable sticking out, it's not as bad as you'd think it would be.

Some of the other reviews state that if you plug two things in at a time, they don't charge as fast - I haven't gotten out the stopwatch and check that claim out, but it wouldn't surprise me.

What I do know is that it charges at about the same rate my standalone brick charger does - so this was a surprisingly good item. STUPID easy to install - works well. "
