Here is the Trixie Nizza winter coat in a very striking black and orange polyester, padded with front bib, it has velcro fastenings; so it makes it easier to put on and take off, also you can ensure a snug fit so that there is no slippage, loops for the hind legs and reflective piping to ensure greater safety in low light conditions. Measuring your dog for a coat:
Certain breeds, over or underweight dog may need a custom fit. There are two measurements that need to be made in order to get the correct fit.
For the length, one of the most important measurements, measure the backbone of the dog from the base of the neck to the start of the tail (the base of your dogs back). Start the neck measurement where the collar would sit naturally on your pet's neck/back.
Also measure around the chest 1/2"behind the front legs. This is the thickest part of the chest. This measurement is often referred to as the girth. Remember that this may vary by breed.
Remember to check your dog size against individual product items.
