" For anyone who is looking to hang a hammock between trees, tree straps are the way to go. It makes it easy to adjust the height or move the hammock to a different set of trees whenever you like. Doesn't damage the tree either. They are long, and should reach around even very thick trees. The included S-hooks were thicker and heavier than those that came with my hammock. So far, we haven't had a problem with the straps sliding around anywhere or ripping, but they did stretch a little bit initially as I expected them to do. Nothing major, just slide them up a little bit and all is well."
