Irish Red is a refreshing, popular beer style closely related to English Bitters. The rye gives it a floral nose and some spicy pepper notes that complement the moderate hop flavor, and slight malty aroma. It has a very clean finish with a touch of toffee flavor. The use of roasted barley for coloring results in a slightly red color and also creates a dry finish.
