we have acquired a small salon / light orchestra library , mainly consisting of 1920s-30s light music for voice / orchestra ( strings & wind etc )

many of these are from the RICORDI library , and most of the parts are handwritten by the publishers copyist and stamped with copyright.

Some of this collection is in BBC envelopes , suggesting at least some connection perhaps with the BBC light orchestra , certainly with pre-war broadcast.

CONDITION is mainly FAIR , clearly many of these parts have been well used , with annotations and repairs consistent with working commercial copies. Other parts are in remarkable condition , with crisp clean paper and beautiful handwritten notation.
