"The Weller SP25NKUS (25 watt, standard duty) soldering iron kit comes with a soldering iron, solder, a usable stand, three soldering tips, a tool to help manipulate whatever is being soldered, and an instruction guide. The tips screw into the soldering iron and the primary solder tip is pre-installed. The soldering iron was hot and ready to use within three minutes and did a great job in reconnecting the wires in an old appliance that had come loose. The iron stayed hot for my little project and there was no perceivable wait time for it to come back up to full heat. The handle was comfortable and the rubberized grip gave me good control so I could hold and manipulate the tool to the angle I wanted. Even better was that the three LED lights on the soldering iron gave me more than enough light to see what I was doing without needing a lamp or flashlight. Perhaps one of the better features was a concise but very informative pamphlet that gives one the basics of soldering (parts, terms, and methods) in just a couple of paragraphs. I would have no problem in handing this tool to a teenager after he or she had read the instructions. After finally getting this soldering iron (and often wishing I had one), I think this is the perfect size for the home toolbox when occasional repairs or projects require soldering."
