The Di700A features a colorful LED control panel and selector dial which is a first among flash manufacturers. Even beginners can quickly get started, and all settings can be easily operated with one fingertip. Zoom coverage has increased to 24-200mm from its predecessor, and it can achieve maximum output of GN54 at 200mm.

The flash head rotates horizontally 180 degrees to the right and left, tilts up 90 degrees, and even tilts down 7 degrees, which is suitable for close-up photography. With a huge variety of angles possible, professional-looking bounce lighting is easier than ever.

The Nissin Di700A is the only flash in its category equipped with an external power socket. Operating with the Nissin Power Pack PS 8 (sold separately), recycling time can be shortened dramatically. Plus, this flash includes PC and 3.5mm sync terminals for studio applications.

The included Nissin Air 1 Commander can be used to wirelessly control one -- or several Di700A units -- for wireless TTL or manual flash use. The 2.4GHz radio signal allows reliable wireless triggering without requiring a line of sight, and it offers a range of 98 feet (30m). In addition, you can use the Air 1 Commander to wirelessly control power and zoom settings, as well as exposure compensation settings, for each connected flash unit. The Air 1 even has an AF assist light for shooting in dark environments.

This flash can be powered by the Nissin Power Pack PS 8 / PS300 (sold separately) for extended use and shorter recycle times. It can also be adapted for studio use with PC and 3.5mm sync terminals.

Quick loading battery magazine
The Di700A comes with one BM-02 battery magazine that holds 4x AA batteries. Additional magazines can be purchased separately for quick removal and installation of fresh batteries.

Firmware Update
A firmware upgrade service is available for the Nissin Di700A. A charge for the firmware update service will apply, varying depending on the area.
