The book is in hardcover and measures approx. 8 1/2" x 11" ( 215 cm x 260 cm). It is bound in dark green board. The front cover and spine are embossed with black art nouveau style text and decorative flourishes. The title is embossed in gilt in large letters on the front cover. The book's title and  place and date of publication are also embossed in gilt on the spine.

The book is in good condition with bumping to the top of the spine and the corners.  There are some slight scratch marks on the outside of the book's back cover. There is a small perforation to the back endpapers and to the last page of text. Both the front and back endpapers have marks of unknown origin.  A birthday inscription in ink and dated March 1901 is written inside the front cover.
