For sale is this wonderful book plate from the 1948 German Book "Kostümschnitte und Gewandformen" (Costume Patterns and Designs : a survey of costume patterns and designs of all periods and nations from antiquity to modern times).  This book was by Max Karl Tilke a German artist and ethnographer.  These are stunning drawings of traditional costumes from around the world. 

The print "Polen" is in full color and measures 9 1/2" x 13".  It is in very good condition with darkening and/or slight paper loss along the left edge where it was glued into the book.  The print will come in an archival poly sleeve and is ready to be framed.
