Petunia - Mirage Red Seeds. Larger flowered than other Multiflora series, with both excellent pack performance and prolific flowering in the garden. The best of both worlds! 6-9cm flowers, many with contrasting veins on compact plants.
When to Sow: February to March
Where to Sow: Sow seeds on the surface of good free-draining seed compost and lightly cover the seed with a sprinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or a warm place at a temperature of 18-20°C until after germination which usually takes 10-21 days.
What to do Next: Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 15-30cm (6-12") apart in borders or containers
