This set features a representation of Canadian ace F/O McKnights P2961 from relatively fresh research, incorporating markings features not often found in kit and aftermarket decal sets that have come before. Cited as the most accurate yet representation of the aircraft's code letters and differently-size "Skull and sickle" personal emblems by some reviewers. A second 242 Squadron "Canadian Years" aircraft, featuring personal markings, is also included.

Documentation includes decal placement and painting instructions for all subject aircraft variations. Additional material in this particular set's Docs include a clear full-page presentation of the finish variations worn on early Hurricanes, and a similar presentation of airframe stencil data / maintenance markings variations. Profiles of both sides of each subject are accompanied by historical and detail notes.
