Started in 1959, Wax Insignia Jewelry features Old World hand made artistry, each individually shaped with freely formed edges - no two are alike. Each piece is hand cast in Italy from original wax seal molds, many of which have existed for decades. Most of the jewelry is made from mixed metal Silver and Brass. Artisans then apply an antique finish for a vintage style look that also helps preserve and protect from oxidization . This process provides 3-4 times the wear resistance of silver & even better, no special care is required to keep your wax seal pendant looking great for many years.
