The 7500 series of high resolution video decoders are the most economical solution to view high resolution digital video over traditional legacy analog equipment. The implementation of video decoders allow to maintain the security operation center investment with no need to replace the equipment with new digital displays. The 7500 video decoders transcode the high resolution MPEG-4 video from the Latitude Networked Video Management System (NVMS™) back to ana-log video with no quality degradation to be viewed over legacy CCTV monitors. The 7500 is available in either a single output or with four out-puts, there is a model that suits virtually any application, from remote guard stations to high density control rooms.

Using a decoder permits video to be taken off the network and brought back to composite video.  The 7500 series of video decoders can be use to view live or recorded video stream. The composite output can be attached to any traditional CCTV equipment such as Matrix Switchers, VCRs, monitors and even DVRs.  In addition, same as with Encoders, the de-coder provides additional functionality such as RS-322/422/485 serial ports, alarm dry-contact inputs, alarm relay output and a pair of bi-directional audio in/out.
