This listing is for a Pair of Antique Chalkware Lamps Resembling Antique Wood Carvings with an Oriental Flare of  Smiling Seated Male & Female Buddha Statues Holding on to the Lamp Post

It probably though is of some early German wood carvings.

Both in rather excellent condition with one of the base ornaments on the female lamp having a small chip and just under the socket. The female lamp shows some loss and wear although together and fine as is . It should be reinforced and touched up, which should be a very easy and straightforward task.

Both come with loops for shade and associated quality brass finials, which I will remove for shipment and ship along.

Overall height to the top of the finial is 25 1/8 inches, the chalk ware part is just under 12 inches and 4 3/4 inches widest diameter.

Both have a blue foil label interior which reads "Lauterbach Heidelberg".

One also has an additional paper label which I cannot make out and is hard to photograph, but someone that speaks German probably will be able to make it out in person ( please see specific image). If you can read the second label, please let me know what it says.

Assumption is that they are German creations probably from 1930s or earlier .

Both switches and sockets have been tested and work.

The female lamps socket could use tightening to prevent it from moving.

One of the two wall plugs is missing the cardboard plate that covers the two prongs. Both wires are in excellent condition.

I usually post many more images on my listing than the 12 listed on eBay gallery which only will be visible to individuals on classic eBay site ( that would be when item is viewed on a computer) . Images are continuous and have an order ( front , back, sides, etc.. ) and should be viewed in continuous fashion. If you are on a mobile site , click on SEE DESCRIPTION to see complete description and all posted images .

There are a total of 35 images of this lot / item posted within the body of this listing. Make sure you see them all.

All shipments will be Insured with the exception of specific items listed to be shipped by Postal First Class Mail or Media Mail which will travel Uninsured at buyer's risk. I pack extremely well.

Great News On International shipments: Ebay has instituted a new International Shipment Option around March of 2020 Which is Insured up to $100 USD, Shows Delivery Confirmation and uses First Class. This option has resolved Issues with First Class Shipments which cannot be insured and did not show a delivery confirmation, hence I am adding a Shipment option called EBAY INTERNATIONAL STANDARD DELIVERY which in general is cheaper and roughly about half the cost of Priority Mail offered on Items that are under $100 and under 4 lbs of weight. If you do not see this option, ask for it and I will add it to the listing if I have missed to do so.Please note that in some cases the difference between priority mail and eBay International Standard Delivery is much less than 50% . In some cases about 19%  and less. This is because First Class is the method ebay International Standard Delivery uses and First Class uses larger denominations as oppose to 1 ounce at a time and I think like Half Pound or One Pound at a time.Look for this new option under shipping tab.

For combined shipping and saving on shipment of multiple items together, add items to cart, goto cart and request total for multiple shipments.
