This is an auction for a complete EELA Audio D Max R.Barth KG Digital Mixer and Router System. 

This mixer is designed  for Radio Broadcast applications. It was removed from service recently from major world-class facility.

The mixer is in superb working and physical condition – the studio was used for training purposes only.

The D.Max System Architecture  

D.Max is digital mixing console that includes an integrated routing switcher and separate control surfaces.

D.Max can handle many tasks in a broadcast station and adapts to different needs of production and ON-AIR use.

D.Max offers integration of ESAM II Protocol.

The signal processing unit of D.Max can be fully operated by an automated ON-AIR Hard disk Play out System and automation.

The system Input and Output modules can be selected to suit the user’s requirements.

All digital input modules are fitted with sample-rate converters to avoid difficulties with different sampling rates of digital signal source.

The signal is routed thought the internal routing switcher. The routing switcher has a serial control interface and it can be controlled from external equipment with proper serial interfacing.

The D.Max unit is provided with a total of 6 stereo summing busses that can be directed thought the Output Router to all available Output modules.

The monitoring channels are directly selected from the Summing buss and also provide an access to an external source.

System Description:

The EELA Audio D.Max system includes:

DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Unit            one             

Central Control Unit with monitoring and

RTW BBC Type PPM meter with Phase meter   one                

Additional Control Surface with four faders one

and RTW BBC type PPM Meter                                        

The two control surfaces can be used simultaneously

To control the DSP unit

GPI (General Purpose Interface) and Preset unit one        

All interconnecting cables

DSP (Digital Signal Processing) Unit includes:

Mainframe with power supply, sync board, router, DSP boards with serial and parallel interfaces for 

system control extension possible by serial/parallel converter eight slots for input/output modules.

Central Control Surface is fitted with:

-Four Penny and Giles (P&G) 3000 Series faders

-RTW BBC Type PPM Meter with Phase meter

-LEDs showing the used sampling frequency (48kHz, 44.1kHz, external) and sync status of the console

-Monitor selector

-Stereo / Left / Right /Mono selector.

-Display showing the status of the console.

-Monitor selector for Sum 1, Sum 2, Aux and N-1 (mix minus)

-Each channel is fitted with: Input Gain, Panorama, Three   Band Equalizer, High Pass Filter, Overload LED, PFL (Pre Fade  Listen), Start/Stop buttons.

Additional Control Surface:

-RTW BBC Type PPM Meter with Phase meter

-32 Ports

-All inputs on Opto decoupling devices
