Although it is impossible to assign an exact age to them, they are estate pieces, and based on their style and size, probably date from the first half of the 1900s. They are meant to capture the eye with their length, intricate hand-wrought filigree and dancing pearl dangles. The pearls add life to the composition. The earrings are made in three sections. The top is a rosette 1/2 inch in diameter. The middle measures 3/4 of an inch by 5/8 of an inch. The bottom is 1 1/8 inches in length by 3/4 of an inch across. The total length, including the ear wires, is a fantastic 2 5/8 inches. The pair weighs 8.1 grams. They are equipped with European omega backs for pierced ears. They are made of solid 10 karat yellow gold (marked and tested). These are marvelous, very highly collectible pieces. Estate jewelry in excellent condition, it will come in a sparkly pouch inside of one of my signature boxes, perfect for gift-giving.
