This is a cam service gasket kit that includes the gaskets, seals and pushrod O-ring seals you would normally need for the Late 1979 through 1984 model year Shovelhead Big Twin engines.

The cam gear cover gasket - or "nose cone" gasket - in this kit is about 0.039" ( 1 mm) thick and has a silicone bead around the entire perimeter on one side of the gasket. You should find it gives you a very good seal. (The color of the silicone beading may vary.)

Through Early 1979 the pushrod seals are completely different and not included in this kit. The other kit parts are the same.  See our other listings for the correct kit if you need a kit for an older engine. We also offer a kit that has all the seals for Shovelheads from 1970 through 1984.
