Jersey Specifications


Xplorer Ascent line is MSR’s middle tier off road gear, purpose built for the serious off-road rider. Ascent pants were designed specifically to provide rider with most of the features found on the more expensive MSR Summit line, but in a lighter weight.

  • Different jersey materials in different locations for maximum effect
  • Main chassis material 195 gram spun polyester with wicking properties
  • Inter arm areas is semi mesh that flows air without letting in dirt
  • Lightly padded elbows
  • Extra long tail to help jersey from un-tucking
  • Top-seam stitching for increased strength and durability
  • Lycra® micro cuffs


Pants Specifications

Xplorer Ascent line is MSR’s middle tier off road gear, purpose built for the serious off-road rider. Ascent pants were designed specifically to provide rider with most of the features found on the more expensive MSR Summit line, but in a lighter weight.

  • 600 denier main construction
  • Ratchet-belt closure & adjustable side straps
  • Heat-resistant embossed leather inner knees
  • Three dimensionally designed, accordion knees provide freedom of movement
  • Exhaust vents on back of thighs for cooling
  • Cargo pockets for small items
  • High quality YKK® zippers with glove-friendly pulls
  • Angled, articulated legs and stretch spandex panels for increased comfort and flexibility.

Size

Measure the width of the waist on your regular street pants and multiply by 2. Then refer to the chart. Example: 16” x 2 = 32” or size 32. Note that ratchet buckle and side waist adjusters (on most models) will cinch up an additional 2“ of waist size to fine tune the fit.
