These are made by Electrix in Denmark (they are now using the name Classic Line) using Original German Technology it says on the box and part of the JP Group.
The white specks you see are Styrofoam from the box they are packed in.
This will fit all 1968 and up type 1 VW's (this includes Beetle, Super Beetle Sedan or convertible and the 1973-74 VW Thing) except the Karmann Ghia.
