This is an antique, Yaka tribe, hand carved wooden, male ancestor fetish figure which is bound with medicine bundles, magic charges a few sticks and a few worn feathers - it even has a belt of magic bundles. This antique African fetish figure was collected in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and was made by the Yaka people. This Yaka fetish is in great condition with some cracks and damage to the wood and the feathers are in worn condition. This Yaka fetish would make a fine addition to any African art collection. This beautiful Yaka statue measures 16 inches tall by 6 inches wide with a circumference of 18 inches and weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces.
