Chain is 12mm hex profile hardened Ni-Cro-Mo Alloy steel in 1.5 meter (approximately 5ft) long covered with a nylon sleeve.
This chain is highly bolt-cutter resistant (it takes a massive expensive cutter and heavy person to cut this chain by hand).
Oxford BOSS Alarmed padlock can be used with the alarm activated or without. Handy when the lock is in use on a moving vehicle or you just don't want the alarm function activated.
The 14mm (0.54") hardened steel shackle double secured into a plastic encased steel lock body which houses the alarm unit electronics and a replaceable battery pack.
