There is absolutely no reason to cover your remote control with the clear tape to keep the dirt away any longer. We know that you love your Volvo as much as we love ours, and there is no way that you will trade in your Volvo for one of those imports from China...just because your remote entry fob needs help. We had solved the problem with your keyless entry fob. We had noticed that the material of the buttons of the remote entry fob would come apart and in some cases the entire buttons would disappear. There would be holes through which the inner contents of the controller would be exposed to the elements. Your options were limited to the purchase of a new remote fob or finding the used one with the buttons in place. Now, you can purchase just the buttons and replace them on your remote. No programming. No worries
One more thing- we added a romantic touch to the new replacement buttons- they glow in the dark...
This item will fit many Volvos with keyless entry. Make sure that yours is the same- if not look at my other auction- I have the other type as well!
It will be very clear if this matches yours, the fobs that Volvo has made are clearly different. These replacement buttons are OVAL, not square and not round. Please look at the picture
