This is absolutely beautifully made

It's a toy model of a Victorian Royal Mail Stagecoach

The workmanship is superb - the undercarriage swivels and all four wheels turn.

I have not been able to determine who would have made this - there are no markings that I can see - whether it was professionally made or somebody's labour of love I am not entirely sure - either way it belongs in a Transport museum for sure - it's gorgeous

The doors do not open - but are beautifully Engraved with No 14 Chester London Royal Mail VR

This measures 23cm wide and stands 16cm tall

In lovely condition - the only thing to mention is the attachment of the front bar to he carriage - (the bar that would also attach to the horses ) doesn't have its pin - I am not certain if it ever did have a pin or this piece was simply propped in front - anyway a small piece of brass wire is very easily obtainable if you do want to secure it to the carriage
