This 8 1/2" Ceramic Plate that was personally autographed the artist Michael J. Taylor. Manufactured by Gartlan in 1996 in excellent condition!This plate encapsulates Ringo's earlier career in vivid, full-color imagery. Back of the plate has images of Ringo as in the Abbey Road famous walk but all 4 are phases of his career.
Limited edition of 1,000 with Ringo shown in four stages of his illustrious career, as painted by artist Michael J. Taylor. This plate is an autographed "Platinum Edition" plate with Ringo's facsimile signature (printed) and Michael J. Taylor (real gold paint pen). The back of this plate is hand numbered in platinum which matches the platinum rim, specifying the number out of 1,000 produced worldwide: excerpted from 10,000 piece edition featuring similar artwork. This is #9562 and was only available to members of the Gartlan Collector's League Club of which I was a member in the 1990s and had exclusive merchandise offers. I have the brochure of the offering as well as the article from the Gartlan Collector's Illustrated announcing the Launch of the Ringo Starr Collection in 1996. These items are long sold out from the original offering 16 years ago and most collectors are not parting with their certified treasures. Happy 78th Birthday to Ringo in 2018! "Peace and Love" I just saw him with his latest All Starr band perform and Ringo was outstanding as always! A real treat to see him again on tour.
