This Chinese 15 gram silver coin is dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of issuance of the China Panda gold coins. Since 1982, the Panda investment coin has been issued by the People's Republic of China. The 5 Yuan silver coin features the silhouette of a cartoon giant panda, with designs of annual rings and different year dates, wordings showing weight and fineness and face value. The other side of the coin shows the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests (The Temple of Heaven), the title of the People’s Republic of China and the year date, also wordings “35th Anniversary of the issuance of China panda gold coins” in Chinese.
