Live Aquarium Plants

Note 1

Note 1. Live Aquarium Plants

Live Aquarium Plants are the part of ecosystem we arrange in our aquarium. They are one of the essential elements that keep the whole system in balance. It is not only about  looking your water tank beautiful.
Living plants use for their growth nutrients  that are present in aquarium water and in substrate. The level of biogens in aquarium water is constantly increasing. We feed on fish which, therefore, expel the products of metabolism into the water. Some of the food that is given to the fish is not eaten. Some plants die or lose their leaves. All this causes an increase in water pollution (increase in biogen levels). Some of these pollutants removed by plants,  but not all. The remaining part is removed regularly by exchanging water in the aquarium.

In sum the best plants for our first aquarium are: Gymnocoronis,  Limnophila sessiliflora, Lysimachia nummularia, Ludwigia repens, Lilaeopsis novae-zelandiae, Micranthemum Monte Carlo ., Eleocharis acicularis, Eleocharis vivipara, Eleocharis parvula,  Hydrocotyle Japan, Lobelia Mini, Isoetes, Saururus cernuus, Bacopa monnieri, Bacopa amplexicaulis, Glossostigma elatinoides. Marsilea quadrifolia. Rotala rotundifolia,
