Dynamite, Dynamite, When VANDY starts to fight ... "       This two-page spread has one page with a line drawing of the school seal, a listing of school Nickname (Commodores) and Colors (Gold and Black) and several paragraphs about the school's history, back to the school's foundation "less than a decade since the South's total impoverishment in the Civil War."   The second page is the title, song credits and opening bars and lyrics of the school's rousing fight song, "When Vandy Starts to Fight," subtitled "The Dynamite Song."   The song continues on the reverse and concludes on a second page, also included.
Taken directly from a college song book published in the 1970s, these are beautiful, crisp pages in pristine condition.   When framed side by side, the two pages as shown are a lovely tribute to the University.      Song credits at top: "Words and Music by Francis Craig '24."

Dates at bottom: "1941 Edwin H. Morris & Company ..... Renewed 1969 Edwin H. Morris & Company"
