Installation

check

to see if you require

a water pressure reducing valve

before installation

to comply with filter specifications

1/ Turn off water supply

*

2/ Run off some water from dispenser

to release any pressure left in system

*

3/ Remove red or blue Circlips

+ tubing from ends of used filter

note

push in blue or grey collet / collar

a few mm at ends of filter

to allow for removal of water tubing

note

keep red or blue Circlips as spares

note

water will drain from filter + piping

have bucket + some towels ready

note

used filter will contain water

*

4/ New filter

remove grey or black dust caps

at each end of new filter

note

remove tiny red or blue Circlips first

and keep safe

note

push in blue or grey collet / collar

a few mm at ends of filter

to aid removal of black rubber dust caps

*

5/ Line up filter

check !

flow direction is correct

See picture on side of box

*

6/ Insert tubing into filter water mains supply end

firmly push in

attach red or blue Circlip

pull gently on tubing to lock in place

*

7/ Gradually turn water supply on

*

8/ Purge – flush water filter system

run water thru filter into a bucket

until water runs clear

as with all new water filters

9/ Turn water off

*

10/ Insert + connect tubing to

fridge side

out end of filter

firmly push water pipe In

attach red or blue Circlip

pull gently on tubing to lock in place

11/ Gradually turn water on

run water from fridge water dispenser

to remove air locks

check !

carefully for water leaks
