This kit has one candle flame spectrum high color rendering index LED flex strip rated at 93 CRI nominal. The color temperature is 1,775 Kelvin nominal. This kit is used primarily to provide candle spectrum light for props, theatrical scenery, and filmmaking applications. The kit includes the flex strips with 24 LEDs, 12 inch ref. lighted active area. The strip has thick double sided adhesive tape on the back and pigtail DC barrel connector cables. The flex strip may be linked to together of the same flex strips when multiple kits are bought. The flex strips cables simply link plugging one into another, the cable ends have 2.1mm x 5.5mm DC barrel connectors.  The kit also includes one FEC1 Flicker Effects Controls that have 6 flicker modes and 10 speed steps. The flicker control also has one static dimming mode.  

The candle spectrum LED flex strip and the flicker control run on DC voltage only, they are for use with 12 volts DC. The center of the DC barrel connector is positive +V. This kit also includes one 8 AA cell battery holder with mating DC barrel connector clip.

 The flex strip pigtail cables are 22” long, each. The overall length of the strip with pigtails is 56 inches nominal. This kit is intended for professional stage prop, theatrical scenery, filmmaking, and photography applications where a candle flame spectrum LED light source is needed.

The LED candle flame flex strips may be used without the flicker control when a continuous fill light is needed for video, filmmaking and photography work.  Check for image banding when the FEC1 flicker effects control is used for film, video, and photography work as the modulation frequency may or may not be compatible with the given digital camera equipment. The LED flex strip uses resistor current limiting and when used without the flicker control the light output is non-modulating.  

 The items ship with a “Quick Start Guide” that includes details on button function for the flicker control. Batteries not included.
