Vtg 1950's Japan Alps R/C Battery Operated Tin Bimbo The Drumming Clown Boxed

Up for sale, I have a 1950's Japan, Battery Operated Bimbo The Drumming Clown.  This is a fairly scarce vintage tin battery operated toy that is in very good condition.  Toy was produced by Alps of Japan and distributed by Cragstan Toys.  The clown is about 9" tall not including the hat.  I put batteries in it and the red light bulb nose on clown lighted up, but he did not work.  I assume it might be because it has sat for so long and the little electric motor might be stuck.   The original box is here and in very good condition, it has one split corner.  This is being sold as is, as pictured, no returns.  Please look at the pictures and judge it for yourself.
