  • Men's size XL - they do run small, please read below.
  • The waist has elastic and a drawstring. They measure 35" laying flat without stretching them. They stretch to over 40" but I would say that 40" would be the maximum waist size for comfort. I prefer the large size shorts and I usually wear a size 36 in pants, but 36 pants are usually loose on me and I sometimes wear a 34. Size 35 pants are really my perfect fit, so if size 36 pants fit you well this is probably going to be the best size for you. These do fit me just fine but are baggier than I want so it also depends on personal preference, if you are right in the middle of large and XL. I also don't have large thighs. If you do, you will probably want the XL. I would recommend these for waist sizes 36 to 40.
