1722-32 Gold 2 Escudos *NGC AU-50* Cob Doubloon
I don't know if this particular coin was recovered from a ship wreak or a Pirate's Treasure but it certainly could have. You would definitely find some in either one. About the size of a Nickel and weighs 6.68 Grams. These crude "Cob" coins were hammer struck on irregular Planchets much like Ancient coinage. Much scarcer and more highly sought after then the later mint struck issues
