This is a brand new replacement aerial mast (telescope), part number 823318001 (823318-001) suitable for the Hirschmann ‘mid range’ aerials with model numbers: HIT AUTA  2030 and HIT AUTA 2050. These aerials were widely available as after-market replacement aerials through car audio specialists for universal applications, and Mercedes and BMW dealers as an approved aftermarket accessory for many of their models. They were also branded by Bosch and Votex as replacement aerial antennas for many Audi, BMW, Mercedes models with the part number 443 051 509 B, 443051509B.

The mast has five chrome sections and a 'can' shaped tip. Overall extended length is 90 cm (36”) when fitted. Bottom section diameter 9mm. It is supplied complete with the toothed nylon drive cable.  Fitting instructions are supplied and it can normally be fitted in a few minutes from outside the car without dismantling the aerial or trim, by removing the aerial top nut.

Please note it is not supplied with a replacement contact spring/retaining ferule so this needs to be re-fitted from the original aerial.

If you can hear your car aerial motor working, but the mast is broken, not fully retracting, sticking, bent has stripped teeth, noisy or suffering poor radio reception this is probably what you need.
